Cats have a special place in the hearts of many people. A cat can be so sweet when tenderly brushing up against you, gently purring, giving you comfort when you are going through a rough patch, or playing so cheerfully. However, a cat can also be terribly independent and may seem disobedient. Basically, your cat will do as it chooses. Despite your wishes, it will pick its own sleeping spot and will simply refuse to go outside on rainy days. Your cat has its own language to try and make its feelings clear to you. A little love and attention will suffice to understand these signals. On this website we want to show you what you will need to take care of your cat, and in this way, we hope to be of service to you and your pet.

Cats are very suitable as pets. They are usually very easy-going, and there is no need to take them for walks. You can leave your cat alone for hours at a time, without any problems. It will simply take a nap and wait until you get back. Cats can live for many years. Because diet and medical attention has improved over the years, they live a lot longer than they used to, just like people. Many housecats reach the age of 16 or 17 years old.

A cat will be happy if its basic needs are taken care of: the right amount of food, sufficient drinking water, a clean litter box and a few quiet spots to lay down and snooze. You can do so much more for your cat, though: cats enjoy gazing through the window to see what is going on outside, so clear a spot on the windowsill. During winter, your cat will be able to entertain itself in this way for hours and hours. Cats also enjoy fresh air; by giving it a sunny place on the balcony or in the garden you will be doing your cat a great kindness.

Your cat’s sleeping basket should be in a warm, dry and draught-free place; next to a radiator, for example. Make sure plenty of fresh drinking water is always readily available.
